Gez, have I ever told you you're awesome? <3

Thank you!

I think I've worked around the issue by increasing the image size. You might think "but why didn't you just do that earlier", the answer is simply that the image size is seemingly set in a lot of places, and most of them are red herrings.

I, myself, am unable to diagnose the cause of that problem. I'm sorry. :(

It's a known issue. Unfortunately, I can't replicate it on my local copy of the software used, so I can't figure out why it's wrong on the server.

I cant see the captcha to make an account for using this service. Using the most recent version of FireFox with updated noscript and ABP. Allowed all the scripts on the page but it just doesn't show the captcha graphic appropriately. Basically it's showing the graphic as if it were zoomed into the top half. If you need a screenshot let me know.

Yes, that's the error that you get when you try to upload something without being logged in. Without an account, you are only allowed to upload 0 files of 0MB. ;)

A more meaningful message would be nice but apparently it's not that easy to make it happen.

Did you register an account? And you'll have to log in every day or so.

Upload Restrictions wrote:You can upload 0 files at 0MB each.
One or more of the files you selected were too large.
These files have been removed.
I was trying to upload a 28.0kb pk3

I'm honestly not sure - I'm tempted to say no, but I know there's a way to code around it. I'm just buried deep in too many projects right now that I just don't have the time to do that right now.

I have noticed that if I go to the file sharing site and forget to log in, I cannot upload a file. That is fair enough but the message that you get is misleading. It says:

"One or more of the files you selected were too large.
These files have been removed."

It had me scratching my head until I realised that I wasn't logged in. Is there any way of changing this to say something like "You need to log in to upload files"?

How about adding support for .7z files?

baghead wrote:This script seems way better than the old one so far... Thanks, SP :) Any chance PK3 and WAD files will be accepted at some point?
PK3 files, yes, WAD files no. I would like WAD files to be compressed before they are uploaded - it saves me disk space.

Unfortunately, that is not possible with this script, it appears to be hard-coded. It will take some looking into in order to change that, but at this point I wouldn't hold my breath for anything happening.

Is there any way you can boost the username char limit? 12 seems a little short.
