Feature Request: Flats split across tiles that are offset

It would be cool if flats are used on the 3rd plane that they could split across tiles that are offset horizontally or vertically.

[ ] = tile
F1 = flat 1, F2 = flat 2, | = door/offset tile

[ F1 ][ | ][ F2 ] would become
[ F1 ][F1|F2][ F2 ]

The only exception would be if the flat was of index 0, so for example, if F1 = 0 and F2 <> 0, it would become:
[ F1 ][F2|F2][ F2 ]
