It's now at r1245. Seems more active now that Boris is working on it. Fixes at least one bug.

About time. :P

I'll compile and upload it right now.

Just noticed that, after months of inactivity, the DB2 SVN repository has had a several commits the last couple of days.

Gez is correct, and it wouldn't be different for DB2.

The only time the builds ever get modified is if there are errors in the code that prevent the program from compiling or running correctly, and no newer SVN version is available, so Enjay fixes the errors himself, sometimes with help from Graf or Randy, recompiles, and posts the modified working versions.

None of the compiled builds hosted here are customized in any way. It's the code straight out of the SVN depository, without modifications. Why would it be different for DB2?

worst thing of all is that CodeImp doesn't want to see customized versions of the SVNs.
like new features, menu adds, optimizations etc.
I would like to build it, but it seems not to come out very well after the compilation and testing on an other PC.
keep getting .NET FrameWork crash reports.

Because nothing has been uploaded, I am going to go ahead and hide the directory, for now. It can always be put back later when something is put up.

by Enjay » Fri Feb 13, 2009 0:55

Makes sense, thanks. :)

All we need now are some builds in the directory. ;)

by Rachael » Thu Feb 12, 2009 23:34

I modified it, I included a link to Doomworld so people know where to discuss it. ^^

by Enjay » Thu Feb 12, 2009 23:00

Done. I left the bit about map files and bug reports on the header but I suspect that won't be relevant. Either I or WoflyGirl can edit the file to reflect the appropriate procedure once we know/decide what it is.

by Rachael » Thu Feb 12, 2009 17:47

Well, WolfyGirl, DoomBuilder2 seems to be a lot more stable now than it was before. As long as CodeImp is okay with it, and as long as Enjay is okay with it, you have my authorization to mirror/host it here. I'm sure Enjay can set you up with appropriate header files for the directory listing so it doesn't look bare. :)

by WolfyGirl » Wed Feb 11, 2009 21:43

oops... i totally forgot i made an DB2 compilation reply on here :/
It's been a while i have been on DRD TEAM forumz.
( i am happy i don't have school anymore, so i have more freetime with me xD )

by WolfyGirl » Sun Jan 04, 2009 11:23

atm Doom Builder 2 is way to buggy, but i got permissions from CodeImp to share my Compiled Doom Builder 2 SVN with everyone.
can grab it from here, but it can be very buggy.
I am not allowed to edit the SVN, so i am not planning to disappoint CodeImp at all cost.

{Edit by SoulPriestess: Changed download link to forum link on Skulltag forums, in case of updates}

by Remmirath » Sat Nov 29, 2008 13:40

I'm willing to offer for the compiling of SVN builds of DB2, when it gets more stable. :)

The latest SVN update as of now is r565.

by Enjay » Sat Nov 29, 2008 1:24

Yes, I was going to suggest that WolfyGirl might like to put her builds online but, like you, I think the program needs to be a bit closer to completion and stability before that happens.
