People go .. and come

Post by Paul »

Last week it's been rather depressing for DRDTeam in that the Zdoomforums wad has been cancelled ( waaah! ) and my art page was removed from the place. Now the bad news - this just in, Tormentor informed us he's moving away from drdteam to another host, which is paid. Sure, why having a free host when you can have a paid one .. :? this logic beats me. Anyway, it was nice hosting the man.

The good news, kinda, is that I'm back (give me a break Bio). I tought studies would limit my time for Doom. Well guess what, they kicekd me out of the university for slackery :P So I got nothing else to do but return to my old hobbies.
PCS aka ma art page won't be back soon though, I need to first add some art there! If anything it'll be a place to store my art AND wads, but that's still only a plan.

Yup.
EDIT: Yeah, cheers for everyone who wished me goodbye in that other thread. Luv you too ^_^

Welcome back paul it's been a long time and many things changed :P

EDIT:Remember that pm i sent you about those computer problems? I found solution to them first move my wads, gzdoom and DB onto other hard drive and they're working fine ^_^ second configure them to new hard drive and no problems. I'm not playing much on PC except gzdoom and
PC arcade games so i don't care for other PC games heh

Anyway logic of dropping good free host and getting worse host which must be paid is just idiotic

Depends on what you want to do there. I think he just needed more storage space than he could get here.

I am tempted to post a timeline picture but... yes unfortunately it's kind of sad that Andrew cancelled it. Again, I will say that I really think he should have just handed the project over to someone else to continue it instead of just dumping it.

Guess what I said when you left?
He will come back, it's the doom addiction
And I was obviously right ;)

Though as I said, it had something to do with the limits I had server-wise with my Joomla installation, so this move was necessary. Though: Thx for the support!
