3d sloped bridge and water underneath where you can swim in.

Post by doomexpert »

can you make also a 3d slope bridge and underneath deep water? to swim under water and above you have the 3d slope bridge. where you can walk on and swim inside the water underneath. somebody have a expample of it? cause the problem is the sector tag is the same as for the water and for the 3d floor sector, i was thinking to make under the bridge a different sector then beneath the bridge also for the water another sector tag, cause it must be possible to have water and a 3d floor above it.

You can stack 3D sectors and their tags. See example.

I'm sorry I don't have time to troubleshoot for you, please ask in the GZDoom Builder thread for help: http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=32392

Now an example with gzdoom builder.. gzdoom, doom in hexen format. double bridge above (double 3d sector). and water below. that was my point.
unless you can switch the format while building...

Ive made an example wad.

why it is not possible to float underneath the bridge in doom in hexen format.

Never mix 160 and 209 specials. All you will get is multiple HOMs.
To help you out I have fixed your map:
