Reload problem

I'm having a serious issue with reloading. no matter what button i configure to the reload command it doesnt work. the marine wont reload which isnt so bad for brutal doom due to auto reload but it makes mods like 'Doom The Mercs" basically unplayable. is there anyway to solve this issue? im using the latest version of GZdoom

Are you sure you're binding the right reload action? Note that there is ZDoom/GZDoom's native reload, and then there is the other pseudo one used by Brutal Doom. You should bind the latter.

That's the only thing I can think of that would cause this.
