1.1.04

Post by Graf Zahl »

Here's a new version. I hope the new FModEx sound code is stable enough now so that the last version with its more or less buggy sound code can finally be replaced.

EDIT: Please redownload 1.1.04. 1.1.03 had a fatal bug that crashed each time a lift was moving.

Thanks for the update. So that's what the critical bug was!

Ack, i'm still getting some serious texture problems!

Also, i'm getting a crash whenever I start my wad now (probably related to fmod). Bummer. I'll file a bug report and send you my wad.

Randy said that he will be releasing a new official Zdoom, but not this week because he is out of town. In addition, there is a potential problem with the sound code that Graf wanted Randy to have a look at. Presumably that won't get done this week either. However, with both of those things pending, it probably makes sense to hang off on an official GZdoom release.

Having the buzzing sound patch applied to the SVN code might be nice though. :)

The quicksave crash bug needs to be addressed as well before a new official release of GZDoom.

I don't have any time whatsoever right now so it is doubtful that I can do something this month.

No worries, don't stress over a hobby. For some reason, the normal saves do work correctly so not having the quicksaves in some maps is just a mild annoyance.

Indeed, no worries. I hope that you are the good kind of busy as opposed to the bad kind.

Well, in that case, I hope you get through it and out the other side quickly.

Getting rid of midi playback would be foolish. The volumes of all music types are now handled one music slider.
