1.2.01

Post by Graf Zahl »

This just updates GZDoom to ZDoom 2.3.1. Again, no new GZDoom specific features.

Do the new ZDooM & GZDooM address the sound problems that were plaguing the previous release (i.e., the different fmodex.dll + GZD crashing that seemed to be attributed to sound issues)?

I updated FMod. I haven't checked though whether ZDoom uses the same one or a later version.

They're both the same as far as I can tell, unless they're slightly different. :) But not enough to crash anything.

Both GZdoom 1.2.01 and Zdoom 2.3.1 are now using FMODEX.DLL ver 0.4.22.6. I have updated my copy of FMOD so the SVN builds are using ver 0.4.22.8

ZDoom 2.3.1 and GZDoom 1.2.01 can use FMOD 4.23 (and probably earlier) to 4.25 without problems.

I think Randy and Graf probably have coordinated this release so that they both used the same version of FMod.
