[2.0.03 and ahead] OpenGL 3.1 isn't sufficent...?

The minimum OpenGL requirement of the newer GZDoom releases is OpenGL 3.0 and I have OpenGL 3.1 according to the OpenGL Extensions Viewer - but GZDoom still crashes on the family's laptop.

That's really odd. First it reports in its extension string that it supports GL_ARB_uniform_buffer_object and later when compiling the shader it reports that it DOESN'T support this exension.
I really have no idea what to think of it.

The previous error also suggests a problem with this extension. My suspicion is driver bug, because this makes no sense.

Darn it, Intel...

At least that computer supports 1.8.7. I'll use that instead when I have to play Doom on the laptop.

Ah, good to know. It was definitely a driver bug. As long as GLSL version 1.3 was used it simply refused to enable a required extension.
The extension got reported but couldn't be used.
