All the subfolders just end up with subfolders called "CMakeFiles" that contain only a "progress.marks".
ZDoom is compiling just fine (except for a crash that's reported on those forums).

That's a) because the relevant change hadn't been merged yet and b) because you are using an old version of CMake.
