Hi!
Since some versions the gamma correction doesn't work any more. When I press F11, the value changes but the window won't be brighter. It's too dark for me.
I usually run it in window mode. The gamma works only if I set vid_renderer to 0. What's wrong?

Try changing the value of "vid_hwgamma" from the console. By default it is 2. For Windowed mode, try setting it to "0".
If this works, it means that shader gamma isn't working for you. This is likely due to having post-processing disabled, or by running GL Version 2.0.

Thanks. It works but as usual the area around the window became brighter.

Earlier versions did not have the shader gamma because post-processing didn't come in until the 2.2 devbuilds around the time that dpJudas started contributing his knowledge to the community.
