Oh JESUS CHRIST!
What kind of example you guys think you're setting up for this guy? Are you actually trying to DRIVE AWAY new members??!? At least welcome him and give a couple of pointers of posting etiquette.
This guy is hardly going to like his time on this forum if on his FIRST EVER POST he gets bombarded by people shouting "THIIS THRED SI TEH SuXX0R!!!11". He's just gonna take you all for a bunch of arrogant bastards.

Hey Zanyhead! Ignore them. They just don't know how to introduce a newbie to the community. Welcome to the DRDTeam.org forums.
I hope you enjoy your stay.

Well, the thread really does kinda suck...but only because of the other people posting in it. Not because of Zanyhead or anything he has done.
Personally, though, I think we ought to start a topic in General specificially for introductions...several other forums I can think of have done such a thing, and it has seemed pretty successful.
