Excellent then. We'll get more stuff done quicker.
Here's another weapon, the silenced 9mm handgun.

Nice pistol, though I'd love a Deus Ex-style silenced pistol, which is one of the most awesome looking weapons ever.

I could help you with the akimbo feature. Not very hard, actually.

Blade Nightflame: Yeah, go ahead and finish up the 9mm handgun - I was hoping you would, since you were telling me about how you wanted to do it a while ago.

TDA: Acknowledged; the magnum is yours for the time being.

As for me, I'm calling the Silenced Pistol.

The silenced pistol. Likely not finished. I recycled the dryfire sound from 9mm.wad, as well as the reloading system, so load this with 9mm.wad to get the desired functionality.

It only just now occurred to me that the silenced pistol needs hands =P

Here's the magnum, sans accounting for the D-Point upgrade.

Providing I can figure my way around importing PNG graphics and aligning them properly (surprisingly difficult...), I should have results by the end of the weekend.

Marty Kirra, could you possibly help out by adding the hands on the 454 Revolver?
No problem, I'll get to work on that. What are we using for hands exactly? I read Hac-X style hands. Just want to make sure.

Nobody's called the melee weapon yet? I'm up for it. What shall I use for fists/feet? I'm actually thinking transparent or outlined fists and feet for this one, so I can do some combo stuff.

What exactly do you mean by transparent and outlined?

I've noticed how the hands have to be kept out of the way at the bottom of the screen in order to not take up the view- by making them transparent a bit or by just outlining where the hand would be, they could be held upright a bit higher as if they're offering some amount of protection to the face.

I'm not trying to get too fancy, just something to think about. Now that I think of it, of course, it doesn't seem like that would fit with the rest of the mod where the hand graphics will be solid.

So kind of Punch-Out!!-style, then? Perhaps combining a wireframe transparency effect with regular solid hands would be effective - and also save our weapon artist from having to draw too much =P
