Your friend misinformed you. Brightmaps work in OpenGL, not software. There is a thing you can do with a custom colormap which doesn't rely on brightmaps and that would work in software mode but if you want OpenGL, go with brightmaps because they are far more flexible.MauricioRocks wrote:I think that it can be done with brightmaps, but a friend told me that brightmaps works in software mode only, and I'll need it in Open GL mode..
