Thanks guys.
Next update coming soon. Maybe I create new particles for fire sticks, or I just use the ones from the old one (without the block-oddity of course). Next release will have more particles and a test map, to see some features of the Pack in action, without having to summon or to run to a map to see something. *Gets on his workplace again*

Finally an Update:
Tweaked the particles a bit.

Made the following actors last trails: Revenant Fireball, Mancubus Fireball, Archvile fire.

Bulletpuffs now have smoke actors flying from them.

Added a testmap (GL only version).

[Edit]
Right now, I have a plan. Maybe to have this as a general resource WAD for everyone to use (as long as I'm mentioned in the Credits of course =D), so it would have various effects (sparks, laser, fire, underwater, smoke, steam).

The Testmap replaces Map01, so don't load it if you want to play Doom with the GZEP.

Oh my god! BUMPO!
Well, if you start wondering where the next version is, please be patient. I haven't got much time working on this, so you have to wait to the next week maybe. I've got a new and better technique now, so this will look even better than the last one, so stay tuned

I think these are pretty cool effects, keep going. :)
EDIT: and why is it SFX? It should be GFX :P

SFX -- Special Effects, I don't know what's the X for, really. Sometimes it's named Special effects, and sometimes Sound effects. Someone would correct me, either I simply change it to GFX or keep the SFX. I'm confused @_@ :spin:

[Edit]Wait, why not just call it "GZDoom Resource Pack"? I actually even planned to have basic resources for mappers in there, so why not?

[EDIT] OK, dunno, but kinda Special Effects :P

Some screenshots while we wait for the next version...

Image--The new bad-assed Spider Mastermind explosion. Real fireworks here.

Image--See the particles flying from the explosions?

Image-- Blue explosions for Plasma Projectiles

Image--Cool new rocket explosions, along with smoke. See the Cyberdemons Rocket Launcher? When he fires it will spray some flames.

Image--Aiming at the lost soul with a rocket launcher.

Image--Frying a zombie man with the plasma gun. Bad-ass effects.

Image--New explosion effects.

Image--New particle sprayers for the mapping resource.

This everything and much more will be in the next version
I plan to release two versions:
A map resource and an effect pack, which will be used ingame.

Stay tuned, it's almost done

[EDIT]

FUCK DAMN!!! SlumpEd just decided to corrupt my WAD. FUCKING CRAP!

But a good thing is that I have a Back-Up  The most stuff is saved  But even if I would have my GZRP, I wouldn't have released it today (in Germany "3rd July 2007"), my sister turns nineteen today  So I still have a bit time. One-Two days and it will be released, but it is still stupid to loose the entire work

Updated, check the main post.

I'm almost going not to release this. Why? Because real life is an @$$ again and pisses me off.

As it goes for the SFX Packages... I post some screenshots later.

Don't cancel! You've done far too much work to quit now!
Just wait until you figure out a way to deal with RL and continue.

There you go P: Actually I don't know what H you mean, but meh :P

Hexen:

Heretic:

Not much, though. I'm kinda limited, since they're all hard coded, so I can't release this stuff before everything is successfully converted into an editable Decorate file. P: But still, I release the DooM one :P

And I use too much "P:", ":P" and "=P" P:

Right now I'm recreating the Heretic monsters. It seems that they work out totally perfectly. I'm done with two monsters (the "Wizard" and the "Undead Warrior"), the "Iron Lich" and "Maulotaur" would be probably the most difficult monsters to recreate. When I'm done with totally converting the hard-coded monster stuff into usable Decorate format I will continue working on the Heretic and Hexen pack. So, and now, on to recreating the Heretic monsters ;)
