So is this the future of ZDoom?

omfg registerz0rz.

Anyway I'll be playing around with this thing tomorrow hopefully (today I need to mass honor to make Knight-Captain rank).

Maps look quite dark in 3D mode. Guessing I'll have to place dynamic lights instead or something. Ooooh, so much to learn. And I'm guessing now all the bridge things where monsters refuse to walk can now be replaced with 3d bridges. That would like, be nice.

You may want to change the gamma setting. For me it's slightly brighter than the software renderer.

Yeah, its brighter for me too. I find that the gamma varies depending on resolutions... what's the cause of this?

I prefer the smoothness in the Open GL renderer... it always disheartened me to see some nice resaults in DB, only to see that Dooms software renderer has distroyed them :(.
