EcWolf Crashes at T Screen

I have Windows 10 and a copy of Wolfenstein 3D that is part of the 3D Realms Anthology, whenever I try to run ECWolf it crashes on the title screen when the large white T shows up, this does not happen when I run my steam copy of Spear of Destiny, what could be causing Wolf 3D to not work but Spear to work?

The version of Wolf3D included in the Anthology is an older version. Use the patch utility to update it to the version that Steam and GOG distribute.
