What, you pick that up but you don't comment on HAL about how we're seven years after 2001?

Still, now they need to work on an AI they'd call SHODAN.

If you're worried terminators are gonna take over the world... it would've already happened by now. :P

To get back on cyborg implants (because most boob implants are sadly lacking in interesting cybercomponents), I'd like to speak about this. A Japanese company made exoskeletal legs that assist disabled persons.

Now where this becomes interesting is that the so-called robotsuit works by reading your mind to know which movements you want to make. ("When a person attempts to move, nerve signals are sent from the brain to the muscles via motoneuron, moving the musculoskeletal system as a consequence. At this moment, very weak biosignals can be detected on the surface of the skin.")

Cool, heh? Now for the bad news:
1. The company is called Cyberdyne.
2. The robotsuit is called HAL.

I haven't heard so much about how they get in the way as how it leads to increased risk of getting a bad back later on. I mean, damn, those things have got to be heavy!

I don't really give a rats about attention. I like my boobs just the way they are. Besides, you see women all the time with huge boobs always complain about how they get in the way. Well mine don't, so there. ^^

As you said earlier. Most men don't' care, and generally bigger boobs=more attention. Doesn't matter if that attention isn't the kind you really want, its just attention. Sad really.

I must admit, I don't really get the whole implant thing. OK, it may make your boobs look bigger but, ultimately, it's not boobs, just a bag of jelly. It's just a techy equivalent of shoving Kleenex in your bra. :dunno:

Yes, it means you prefer something real rather than something gushy and gooey.

I personally admire women who don't use implants. It shows a real strength of character, something that's rare in both genders. :P

I think you are giving guys too much credit. They can tell. They are just to shallow to care. ;)
This is probably too much information, but I prefer small boobs or no boobs at all over the big/fake ones (providing that the person in question is indeed a female and can prove that she is actually over 18). Does that mean anything?

How about an implant for ample breasts? Oh wait, they already have that, and whenever a woman uses it, a guy can tell. :P

Sad, but oh so true. An unfortunate side effect of the hard wired instinct to procreate, but still...its amusing.

by Enjay » Fri Oct 03, 2008 18:46

Come on! We all know how humanity reacts to any new technology. There would be some kind of "sex enhancer" implants available and, no doubt, offers for them would be beamed directly to peoples' wet-wired brain implant chips as spam mail.

I'd have to go with a combination of shadowrun's datajack implant and headcomputer. Lets see, it allows me to write/work on the go, gives me access to the internet wherever there's a hot spot open, plus it just seems rather handy, and if you wish to truly get 'out there' on the mind/machine interfacing you could theoretically use such thing to quick learn the basics of a given skill, or possibly find a way around natural limits where memory is concerned (or just have a whole slew of youtube videos saved for viewing when you want a quick chuckle). Then again while we're on the subject of replacements and upgrades I'd have to go with replacement eyes. Granted I'd go with an unnatural look for my peepers (possibly black eyeball with red irises), but given my own eyes are, for lack of better terminology, defective it just seems imminently practical.
