I'm all for the avoidance of idoicy. I go out of my way to aviod being offensive, and if, by chance, I should post something stupid or get into an arguement, I'll almost always be the first to back down. Better let them have their last word or apology than ruin the forums. I think if more forum-goers had this kind of mindset, we might be better off.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but do QBasicer and Bio have access to people's accounts being moderators?

You, opposite to the guys You mentioned, don't contribute so much blazes. By contribution we meant rude posts, not the normal ones.

I'll only say here that we (DRD) are quite toleratant people.
We got nothing against some funny stuff or "joeks", even threads derailing.

However: flaming (be it regulars vs n00bs or regulars vs regulars) with words AND pictures, acting too sarcasting/like an ass, posting things that are either stupid or too vile (like pictures of dead animals) is NOT tolerated here.

I won't allow turning DRD into an outpost of retardness that zdoom.org recently changed to (no offense Bio and Randy, and the cool zdoom.org regulars-You know who You are)
And I visit these forums daily so security is high.

This place will be fine untill we hit 1000 members or so, then the n00b/sane ratio will explode and the same thing that happens to any huge community will happen.
Sure that might take a while. It took zd.org 3 years and I believe it will take this one 2-2.5.
Sorry to sound pessimistic but I have been to a ton of forums in my day and this is the norm.
