You shouldn't give up that easy. The maps you posted weren't the greatest, but there's a lot (I do mean a lot) of maps that are far worse. Just don't map with the aim of making the best looking/playing maps, aim for creating something you can call your own. You have a lot of potential, from what I've seen of your maps so far.
I used to think I sucked at mapping, and probably gave up quite a few times (each time only ended up being for a week at most, heh). Eventually, from practicing mapping and gaining a different view on what 'sucked' about my maps, I started to think I didn't suck as much as I thought I did. Just keep with it, you'll find your mapping sweet spot before you know it.
