So ... What is Zandronum?

For many in the Doom community, this new source port needs no introduction. However, there are still some who have no idea what this new thing is or why it even exists.

Well, some people in Skulltag decided they could no longer work together, and so they parted ways and forked it to a new project. Enter Zandronum - the newest, most up-to-date version of what used to be Skulltag.

Unfortunately, it also meant the proverbial death of its parent source port, as no more active developers remain. Many fond memories will be missed from that era.
