All places from this map are true locations from my city.

Nice! I love realistic looking city maps and maps of places that look as if they could exist (and in this case they apparently do). I look forward to seeing this.

I'm with Enjay - I love a good urban Doom map! Doomcity.wad is among my favorites of all time, and I look forward to this. I just hope it plays well too!

This is definitely a good idea. DN3D fans have enjoyed realistic large city levels for years (some of them are really good) but the Doom engine doesn't cope with large wide-open spaces very well. This looks nice!

This wad is a remake of map I created few years ago. This old map was very large and looks awefull, but gameplay is excellent! In this more realistic version I carry on best gameplay ever. Map will be absolutely no-linear, with tons of clasic Doom2 monsters and ammo/health. Gameplay is on the first place. To finished first version of this map I need 2 houers. To finished remake I'm planning much much more.... Sorry for my english.

Heh, it's a lot better than my Polish. My sister, however, spent 3 years there and speaks a reasonable amount. Of course, she learned most of her Polish from mining-town workers and, apparently, has quite a foul mouth on her. ;)

Thanks and sorry, I don't have beta-release. You must wait 3-4 months....

On start you can walk in any direction you want. Map have lots of not important buildings and places. You can go there and kill some monsters, but this is not necessary to finish level. Is absolutely no-linear. But on your way you find some gates opened only with keys, switches wich activate some scripts and open other doors. In this same time you must kill many monsters, but ammo and health is suitably scattered on map. There are many many monsters hidden in streets and houses and game is for experienced players, but WITHOUT EXAGGERATION. In my opinion gameplay is very good. I hate maps with bilions of monsters and with 0 architecture. This map is bloodfully but in every time you can escape in many directions.

So, it's gonna be like a Grand Theft Doom? I like the idea of that.
