Rex Claussen wrote:I really like the geometry of the catapult. I don't know how much work is involved, but giving it an "attack" animation will allow it to be used in mission-oriented maps. For example, the player needs to break into a castle but the drawbridge over the moat has been lifted. The player must drag a catapult to the moat's edge and fire it (perhaps more than once) to hurl projectiles at the castle's ramparts. The attack breaks a hole in the wall and the player can enter.

I realize this is not the traditional style of Doom gameplay, but I'm always looking for ways to mix things up.

Btw, great work on the other stuff too.

Thanks, no problem to animate the catapult, I make some frames in it.

Edit :

A little bit wood and steel.

Wow, all this looks very nice.
Have you ever considered putting ship props in there? (eg: deployed/rolled up canvas, simple flags, steering wheel...) I'm actually looking for props like that but can't find them. Only if you wan't. I'd definatley put them to good use =)

Thanks,

I stop with this model pack, because it's already 25MB.
I start a new one, with more futuristic stuff, let me know if you have some suggestions. :)

Here the compilation pic, I also use for my site,
