Weapon ideas and discussion

To be bold, using the standard Doom weapons is not really balanced for competitive games; however, despite that the most useful and yet favorite is the SSG -- as like myself. However, with using a more robust weapon selection and yet more functionality, the weapons will be more delightful for the competitive game modes.

Wish List:
  • Chainsaw [SLOTID: 1] SECONDARY SPAWNED
    • Increase the damage taken.
  • Chaingun [SLOTID: 2] PRIMARY SPAWNED
    • Never fires straight, but does not shoot vertically either. Random bullets should be scaled by both Horz/Vert, and at a tighter X/Y
  • SuperShotGun [SLOTID: 3]
    • Uses the current STOCK revision of the pellets and X/Y
    • Fast reloading?
  • Rocket Launcher [SLOTID: 4]
    • Faster projectile, period.
  • Gernade Launcher [SLOTID: 5]
    • Mimic ST?
  • Railgun [SLOTID: 6]
    • No reloading.
  • Plasma gun [SLOTID: 7]
    • Rapid fire
  • BFG [SLOTID: 8]
    • Blazing fast projectile
    • No tracers
    • Not intent hit like from ST

time to revisit this topic. I Want to keep things compatible as much as possible, - but yet, I want the players to have variety. More to this topic later....

It seems I have already figured out the entire weapon ordeal, so no need to bother with this topic anymore.

I decided to unlock this, I have a strong feeling that I am going to revisit this and make some changes.
