Hi,
I just installed Doom 2 and GZDoom, however upon launching the game through the GZDoom executable the menu text was incredibly glitchy to the point that it was difficult to read. The best way I can describe it is that it was flickering sporadically.
Furthermore, in-game whilst alive walls were occasionally flickering in and out of existence. And then, when I died, this happened:
I really need my Doom fix, so any help would be appreciated

Re: Strange glitches on menu text and wall textures
Issues like this are almost always caused by the graphics driver, and are often fixed in a following graphics driver release. Given that the problem was so widespread in your experience, it's hard to imagine that the driver version you were using was anything but broken in OpenGL. Intel does release broken drivers, but they often do not stay broken as such.
A driver is what allows an application (GZDoom) to communicate with your graphics hardware (Intel HD Graphics 520) - and when that's broken, that's why problems occur.
So - Please try the latest graphics driver first.
