Gzdoom forced into low priority CPU use

As if the resetting gamma and random save crashing weren’t enough now it seems the new win 10 update is forcing the program to run in low priority mode. When I try to set it back to normal it the os goes and sets it right back to low why does Microsoft do these things. This would explain to performance issues that people have been having.

It seems to me that GZDoom is setting its own priority. You are only seeing the background priority, that it switches to when you swap out. When I have it foregrounded it goes to normal priority, to me.

In short: You cannot examine this value because if you do you won't see the actual setting.
