Using Torm's 2mbrown texture pack, along with some nice translucent, additive textures produces some nice effects. Oddly I think this looks better in software, but here's an OpenGL picture anyway :)

@ solarsnowfall: Wow, how did you get the floors to reflect the walls like that? Or is it just a stacked sector?

Anyway: here's some screenshots I used on my 3d bridges and other parts of my map, in my DE project. I switched over to GZdoom to it's better decorate and 3d floors:

Was messing around with the hi-res texture stuff in gzdoom.
When I took the shot it was at 1600x1200. I actually had to resize it so I could upload it to image shack.

The images in this case, are real life textures and are really large png's, most around 1024x768 which reside in the textures directory. By scaling the wad lump image to only 128x128 the large image is compressed, the outcome is pretty hi detail stuff. - a 1024x768 image compacted into a 128x128 scale.
Also remeber I had to lower the screenshot size to upload, this also lowers the image quality of the screenshot.

I don't think I'll move away from Gzdoom since it has everything Zdoom has + much what I always wanted to have in it ;)

More 3d floors

23 lines with action 160 (32 if you count the woodstove that's inside). You can see in between the door's slats, and open the door. The divider in the window is a solid 3d floor and not part of the texture.

meh, I hate doing this.

As usual, showing off Gzdoom's abilities ;)
Alpha Channeled PNGs for multiple pretty effects. Fun.

I was pretty surprised to see no shots of models in Gzdoom here. So here's one-a very early pic of my R One mod ;) enough of this secrecy. It is indeed being worked on.

I myself am a newbie at modeling, but, eh, for the sake of showing off GZdoom's 3D actors, here's some screenies of a 3D acolyte:
