Gzdoom blank screen when booted

Hey all, I'm having the same problem. Everytime I try and run GZdoom it says unsupported. I'm not entirely sure how to run it in windows mode, because as soon as run the .exe it just asks which .wad i want to run, then starts (then i cant see because monitor just reads unsupported. Other than that I tried using every other tip in this thread to no avail. =(

Search for the fullscreen CVAR in the gzdoom-<username>.ini file, and change its value from true to false. Save the file and start GZDoom.

While you have the ini file open, also check the v-sync, resolution, etc, settings.
