Mouse issue (Ubuntu 14.04 linux 64-bit)

Post by alphaxerosyx » Wed May 07, 2014 0:57

The issue I've been having with mouse control in GZDoom is that I can stand perfectly still and the view will 'tick' upwards and to the left once per second, to the extent that from looking directly forwards, it takes about 6-10 seconds to be staring at the ceiling. Needless to say, this isn't very good for the aim. DOOM is still playable like this, but it does present quite a handicap. I initially thought it was something with the Brutal DOOM mod i was playing, but I started a game without it, and still experienced the issue. Upon starting the game, the issue doesn't immediately start, but even the slightest mouse input starts it off (i.e in DOOM 2, I can stare at the 2 zombie guys ahead of me, but once I adjust my aim, it begins). It is only in-game, and doesn't affect menu navigation.
