Yes, yes, that's nice and all... but are you really sure you want to bring the horrors of bloom to ZDoom?

Are you sure that's not a Quake series engine? :o

an id Tech you mean?

hehe, this is the unexplored graphical part Skulltag and GZDoom

i'm trying reproduce at maximum the Quake 3 feeling in Doom engine.

EDIT: re-answering the Salad Viking question...

Sure, i'll bring the horrors of bloom to Doom, i like the Tron Visual, but i will make this visual follow the same of the project's slogan "Your most wonderful dream may be your worst nightmare"

Can i ask about Paul's screenshot?

How did he made the Minimap? This will come in handy for mods with very large maps for both single and multiplayer mode

I think I can answer that. It looks like a screenshot of a modified version of my Overlord map. It's not a minimap as such. It's more like a radar. It shows you the direction of a goal and how far you are from it. If you are familiar with the compass in MoHAA, it works on much the same principle.

I certainly couldn't have come up with the ACS code myself. Grubber produced the original example WAD and I basically lifted it and pasted it into my project making absolutely minimal changes. I've attached a copy of Grubber's original example file.

To be honest, I don't really know. IIRC the code uses a specified tid to track the target destination. I would guess that with a bit of fiddling with the code, multiple targets/tids could be interrogated and displayed but it's a long time since I looked at it so I don't know how much work would be involved.
