I've been toying with the idea of creating a psychedelic mod for a while. kinda make it really surreal at times... I honestly have no idea where I'm going with that concept.

:shock: If that's "playing around", I want to know what one of your serious maps would look like.

Yes, most impressive. Though I'd love to know what frame rate you get with that scene and what specs your testing machine is...

Re: Screenshots

140-160 fps, as vid_fps shows. Take a look: 1, 2, 3. There is no problems with perfomance, that's why I love GZDoom :)

OS: Windows XP Sp3
Proc.: Intel Core 2 Duo CPS (2x 2.80 GHz)
Memory: 2 GGb RAM
Video: NVidia GeForce 9400 GT

If anyone interested how to make this "soft" grass texture, maybe I should post a topic how to do it?

Damn it, I was hoping nobody would bother doing that; the desire to keep the discussion separate from the content always kind of bothered me.

That's because the screenshot thread is supposed to show people images, not to read through discussions about them.

Err.. I'm sorry for a little offtopic :") At last, i've compiled ZDoom and GZDoom under Ubuntu 10.10. Yeah!
Everything is fine with both of them, but GZDoom does not support HQ scale. I think, this is non-free nvidia drivers problem. Also, there is a problem with GZDoom with changing windowed/fullscreen mode -- can be solved by editing /home/user/.gzdoom/zdoom.ini parameter:

fullscreen=true

Here are screenshots, how it's looks:

ZDoom and GZDoom

At last I have something to play do at work :angel:
