Advanced OpenGL source port fork from ZDoom, picking up where ZDoomGL left off.

Question about the newer GZDoom versions and Dynamic Lights

Post by faad3e »

I've just downloaded the most recent version for Gzdoom (2.3.2) to test my new map I'm working on, but, I realized that the sliders to change the dynamic light size and intensity are both gone. Where are they? Are those options set on the WAD file or something like that?

Pictures for reference http://imgur.com/a/5bZDb

Is there any way to change those options now (Dynamic light size and intensity)?

Those settings were removed because they made the entire dynamic light setup unpredictable for mappers because lights could either be very small or exceedingly huge, depending on what the end user set them to.
