Great I figured it even out myself, just copy the following into althudcf.txt inside the gzdoom.pk3:

Code: Select all

BFG9000 ""
Chaingun ""
Chainsaw ""
Fist ""
Pistol ""
PlasmaRifle ""
RocketLauncher ""
Shotgun ""
SuperShotgun ""
Thanks again to you and Graf; I've also attached some cursors images I found, they're larger than the default one.

You'd better off autoloading the althudcf.txt file directly (use the ini to autoload it). The official gzdoom.pk3 is not going to have that change to it, and any change you do to your version will be lost when you update to a new version of GZDoom, plus it can possibly lead to bugs that nobody else will be able to reproduce if you have changed the (g)zdoom.pk3 file and one of these changes is the culprit.

See attachment for a shot of UT99's menus. It somehow defeats the comfort of mouse controlled menus if they are awkward to use. This is no complaint, just saying.
