OMG UPDATE

* I've given the WAD a new palette. Less reoccurances, simplicity blues and lighter greens are the order of the day :)

* Cleaned up the DBS's muzzle flash. Also fixed the cropped the Photon Rifle sprites and fixed their lights (The flash keeps the original ones, though. I like it that way)

* Did a little clean-up on the Minigun Guy's warmup frame.

* Fixed the EFC/Photon Rifle's smoke B frame and the C-F frames of the Ice Cannon smoke

* Inventory items now have the ARTI prefix like Heretic and Hexen

* Tweaked the palette. Overhauled the greens to suit the blues (Brighter than the simplicty ones, done via XWE's gradient tool) and tweaked the reds (Menu options etc. look awesome

* Fixed the dual STOIC raising choppiness temporarily with state length tweaks.

Ready for a 0.7a release, methinks.

Maybe not.

* EFC + Weapons Chip doesn't kill the frame rate any more

* Dropped Single STOIC has a full clip.

* Re-added 30CAB0 (It was missing from 0.7 for some reason)

Minor update:

* Shotgun Shells capacity reduced to 48/96, 30. Caliber Bullets to 60/120
* Minigun rotation sounds get Serious.

EDIT:

More major update:

* Redone how the minigun spinds up/down. It now acts more like Serious Sam's way. (Refire while spinning down spinds up almost immediately and letting go of fire when spinning up almost immediately makes the barrels spin down again.) The downside of this is that the DECORATE for the Minigun is a monster.

* Chi Gems can now be used to instantly replenish the Unmaker.

* Removed the palette since several textures looked awful with it
* Reduced STOIC damage by 1/5 and reduced clip capacity by 2/5 (12/24)
* Improved the balance of the mod

Code: Select all

  * The Double Shotgun reloads much faster and it's min. damage is now 126 (was 200)
  * The other shotguns min. damage is now 45 (was 60) but are both slightly more accurate
  * The photon pistols and arachnotrons min. damage is now 4 (was 6)
  * Arachnotrons now fire full auto and faster than the originals to compensate for their reduced damage (1 shot/6 tics instead of 1 shot/8 tics)
  * The STOICS min. damage is now 4 (was 5) and it's clip has been reduced to 12 from 20
  * Shotgun guys drop STOICS less often
  * Dead marines drop photon rifles less often and drop photon pistols more often
  * Stealth rifle ammo limit is now 40/80
  * Zombies drop Zen's less often but dropped Zens give more ammo.
  * Minigun now gives 100 bullets, pre-dropping (was 75 to work around an old 2.0.96x bug)
  * Removed Ice Cannon's cross attack
  * Unmaker gives 50 ammo (was 90)
  * Unmaker max ammo is now 300 but no longer benefits from backpacks
  * 5.56mm ammo max is now 250/500
  * Slashed powered EFC's weapon.kickback value
  * Unmakers secondary damage reduced and chipped versions damaged increased.
* Changed the SS replacement's sprites to the helmeted zombie marine sprites from the MRW
* Remove +ROCKETTRAIL from the Iron Lizard rockets
