Don't you love how that rhymes? Anyway, I recently started messing with 3d floors and am amazed at the possibilities, though I won't be totally convinced until I know this is possible.

You will not be able to use regular Door actions but with clever use of scripting and other 3D floors for the doors it is possible,

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. The only problem though is that if you used linedef triggers there'd be no way to keep you from activating them from below. I guess I'll just have to work around that.

You could use a script which will get the player's z height as to check how high the player is (above the 3d floor or below) then when the player triggers a linedef, it first checks the players zheight then rund the appropriate action.
