How to put new sounds in Risen 3D

Post by markpage »

Hi all, a little while back i changed the Item Pickup sound in Doomsday to something better, i never liked the original pick up sound, i made it by clicking some spoons together. My question is, how do i implement this sound in Risen 3D, does it need to be in a specific folder tree with a command line option? Ive looked all over the internet but can't find anything on the subject, any help would be much appreciated. :(

Please use the correct forum for posting stuff. The Doom Armory forum is for Armory-related stuff.

Doesn't Risen3D still support WAD files? It might be comparatively archaic compared to a folder structure, but a copy of XWE or SlumpEd should do you well - just create a new WAD file, import your sound as DSITEMUP, then run Risen3D with that file.
