DRD Team

Recently i downloaded the Alpha Prime demo and i liked the pistol a lot. So i decided to take some screenshots and edit them. Includes three versions:

- Dual pistols with edited rott hands

- Single pistol with edited and normal rott hands

Unfortunately i only ripped the idle frames. I also made some firing frames for the dual pistol version but i basically added a modified muzzle flash from Action Doom.

Haha, nice rip, Dudu! Hmm... I just might have to give these a good use.

Just for the hell of it, I smoothed some of the rough edges and improved the sprites a bit. See attachment below.

All right, so I hacked around a bit and got one with a Doomguy hand... sort of. I couldn't find the angle I wanted so I screwed with the existing hand to make it Doomguy-ish. The only problem is, it looks... wrong. Like it's missing something entirely. Any help on this one?

this is great! it would suit better for some kind of laser pistol. that's why i only ripped the idle frame.

Hehe, thanks! Well... I hope it's not too laser-y enough to not warrant it a spot as a standard pistol in a little something I'm working on.

this topic was very buried so i decided to revive it. here's a edit of the Flare Gun from Blood. basically i added the Doomguy hands to it. i think i can tell that this is an edit of an edit*

*i edited a sprite that was edited by another person. i don't know who's that person but i guess it's WildWeasel. (correct me if i'm wrong)

That's likely Captain Red's edit you were working with.

Yeah, his had the flaregun opening frames.

Looking at the SW beta Riotgun topic, i decided to make my own edit of the weapon. Basically i edited the final version Riotgun (yeah. that overused weapon you may have seen a lot.) to make it look like the one from the beta version.
