I added to Powerslave grenade sprites Doomguys gloves.

It's too bad these hands don't meet up exactly with the Doomguy hands resource- one of the hands is in a perfect shape for what I need but the glove color is too pale and I'm having a really hard time getting it right.

Really? I tried to make the color matching. I used colors from Pistol hand and SSG reloading hand as a base... Try photoshop, minor changes like contrast and brightness doesnt spoil sprite edges and it should be enought for what you need.

Would it be possible to make one handed unpin frames for this?

I tried playing around with the contrast and brightness and still couldn't quite get it looking just right. I'll give it another shot...

Heh, so it seems the main problem isn't glove color, but shine. The arm is also darker than the other exposed arms (that's due to the fact that the top of doomguy's arm is hairy and thus it makes it look darker) but the arm issue I can work around.

There's, that's better, main colors back online, arm colors back into the green. PSP is now online and I can now rotate this hand... !!!! WHAT THE HELL KIND OF GUN IS THAT !!!!

I realize how old this is, but Neoworm, how did you get the pallete right? I can't get the PowerSlave palettes right in XWE.

EDIT: God, I'm dense sometimes... Nevermind, just found PALETTE.DAT.

I just re-read my post from up there and had a good laugh. Star Control 2 must have been really awesome back then!

But yes, that would be an awesome question to have answered by anyone with hand editing skillz.
