eh, i've lost all paitence to mod
But i'm doing animation at uni this year, so perhaps i'll get back into it, if i do i'm going to do a melee mod, hopefully without the same old recycled witchaven sprites, it's mainly going to be hexen sprites, but hopefully with some twists, sure they've been done to death but hopefully i'll have a stroke of creative genious and make them something special.
The main focus will be making the player feel powerful and immersed, but as i lack significant coding skills it'll mainly be clones of the regular punch except look different and have smoother animation, so it'd probably get boring fast.
I'm really just thinking outloud, i'm just saying IF i start modding agian thats what it'll be...Perhaps.
EDIT: Actually IF i start modding agian i'll help chrono do something, if he'll have me

but anyway yeah, i have no paitence to mod. The thing that i have just enough paitence for which is artsy thats on the computer, is making sprites highres, like i'm working on Ultimate Rugal from Capcom vs SNK2.
It's pretty fun to do, i try and follow exactly how the people making Super street fighter 2 turbo HD remix do it.
It's a very long process.

Melee mods are usually fun, when it's with weapons. Just bare mits and kicks usually is boring. Sticking to the spriting sounds good though, and also it helps you improve on your art classes.
