I just noticed that I was using the wrong pistol in the mod...lol. Ok, I need to rename the sprites!

You sure that it isn't because of the contrast setting I'm using in GZDoom? The actual sprite looks fine.

The contrast on the pistol itself looks a bit odd. The space underneath the hammer should be darker, and the weapon looks too white-ish to me.

I messed around a bit in Paint Shop Pro and got a nice result. I just cut out the silver part of the gun only, used the Gamma Correction tool set at 75%, then bumped the contrast up by 25%. It turned out rather nice, I think...

Ooh, and I thought the original sprite looked nice. The update looks even sweeter. Good stuff. :)

Interesting Fact: The gun was actually an aqua color, but the conversion to the Doom palette turned it blue :P

You can save them as 256-color PNG's and then load them as raw data in XWE. The original color ought to be resorted then.
