I've always wondered if it's possible to disable the yellow tinting effect on the Doom title screen.
I never liked it.
It would come in handy for TC's.
(It wrecks the titlepic.)

Bring up the console and type the following
dimamount - changes the translucency of the color tint (0.0 - none, 1.0-fully opaque)
dimcolor - changes the color of the tint. The input is in hex ("FF FF FF" is white) or you can enter one of the predefined colour names located in Gzdoom.pk3, in the file x11r6rgb.txt. The latter is easier imo, but personally I stick to yellow

It may also interest you to know that there is currently a feature request over at Zdoom which, if implemented, would allow modders to set a colour that was specific to their mod via the mapinfo lump.

yes that is very interseting!!!! by the time i finish my .wad it might be implemented and i can personalize it for my thingy.
