Re: The Return: John Romero and Adrian Carmack are back
Very cool video. The music's similarity to that of Star Wars music has, indubitably, not been lost to the readers of this forum. Or, for that matter, most of the DooM community.
No disrespect meant here, but Adrian Carmack looks like a middle-aged accountant and John Romero looks like a car thief and/or drug dealer. Heh.

So - I have been doing allot of looking into this
Here is what I found..
This article/Blog post does a good job into what is going on.
http://www.retroneogames.com/blog/2016/ ... s-new-game
Worth the read - Also at 8 am PST Monday there will be an announcement. Either via newsletter or Via Romero's twitch channel
There also have been some interesting developments about Hoxar - Link
Which has been talked about in the Night work games newsletter
More specifically this page -> http://www.hoxar-inc.com/new-page
Pass = #AN0M4LY^
Edit: That said - I wonder what Engine / Tech that Romero and Adrian are using to build the game. Custom Engine? Unreal 4? Unity3D? Cryengine?

What ever the new game is - Mod tools are a under consideration perhaps?
