:O

Where the hell did you get that awesome shotgun?

The shotgun was designed for The Vision by Nmn. It was originally just going to be exclusive to that project, but then I brought it into Seriously for lack of any better double-barrels, then it went into the Mixed series...

You guys are free to do whatever with it. Because I don't think The Vision is ever going to get made.

Alright, I'm partially back from the dead with a brand new project. As far as I'm concerned, the Mecha Mod and Seriously are scrapped (if anybody wants the current wad file for Seriously, let me know - Mecha Mod isn't in any state to be released). I return, however, with a new mod for GZDoom.

The Stranger

This mod's focus is on more "realistic" styled weapons, much like Operation Mjolnir. It's based on ww-mixed2 (the new status bar, player sounds, the monsters, terrains and switches) but the weapons are all new for the most part. I'm already putting together a design document, and I've got three weapons imported thus far.

* The Martial Arts. Imported from ww-cash and recoded for Decorate, sans alt-fire (the main combo was strengthened, instead).
* The Glock 17. Imported from The Vision and completely overhauled - now semi-automatic, quick to fire, and has auto reloading.
* The Anaconda. Imported from Mixed Tape 2, and overhauled for a more efficient semi-automatic fire, and automatic reloading.

Planned weapons:

* A shotgun - likely the one from ww-opm.
* An "Angel Arm" a la Trigun (though it might use Scuba's Unmaker graphics or something...), built in to the Anaconda. Causes the player's arm to transform into a demonic weapon of mass destruction.
* Throwing knives.

Do you mind if I take over the Strife mod, WW? I want to include it as part of a make-over for Strife in general.

Sure, go ahead...

If your gonna use the Moljnir Crowbar then let me know. I already converted the code to Decorate for my own use. I am fairly sure it can be reverted for use with the regular crowbar as well.

I don't intend on adding more melee weapons. I'd probably change the Chainsaw into the break-action shotgun.

Ah okay.

The Stranger

* Retooled the pickup items - they aren't floatbobbing Serious Sam rip-offs anymore. Made them a bit more realistic, changed the sounds, etc.
* Increased the Glock's power a little bit.

:? Uh Glock 17? My mods use the latest model which is the Glock 22. Meh. To each his own.

Inuyasha: Sure - I may end up reworking the graphics though, if yours happens to use the ICD-SE knife.

How'd you know? ;) Here

FYI: its only the sprites required for the knife throwing, as well as a decorate code.
A word of warning though, I used A_ThrowGrenade to achive the arc in the throw, but you cant mouse-aim it. And i used the crash state to avoid the death sound after being spawned too long.
