I got :
less than 1 GHz (based on Archon's post)
GeForce2 with 32 MB RAM
256 MB RAM.
GZDoom runs smoothly at 800*600, trilinear filtering, and dynlights disabled.
When I said "5 Zombies and 1 Imp onscreen" i meant all at the same time.

You're not the only, friend
I can't believe it either, but it is rendered ! Very slow, but
rendered. All : dynlights, mirror effects, flashlight, shadows, etc. I play it on 640*480 on
Low Quality and every "eye candy thing" disabled. Which does not mean it can't render it.
Of course, the framerate won't go over 5fps. But it was enough to make it playable. Thanx to Tweak-XP.
Painkiller also works on my comp - in slowmotion.

I don't know of any good convert which can convert md5s to md2s directly but here's how I do it:Fabio914 wrote:Well , we prefer don´t re-animate it , but on this Imp , for example , we had to re-create some animations and textures for the model. And we´re looking for a good model conversion program , do you know a good one?ChupaReaper wrote:Did you manage to convert the Doom 3 model animations across aswell? If so how? I can convert md5meshes into md2 easy -but I'm forced to reanimate.
Nice project, it's been a while since I've played Doom 3 since my laptop can't render it right so it's nice to play it low sec.
I import an md5mesh into Blender3D.
I then export it through Blender as a Wavefront OBJ.
I then use a really good program called Misfit Model 3D which I use to open the OBJ and save it as an md2.
I have to reanimte the model myself though using Misfit Model 3D.
Results aren't too bad though:

These models are animated (not too badly) and work well on low spec systems -though my laptop is hi spec, it can't run Doom 3 but has rendered tons of these models without going to a bad frame rate.

Helo guys! how are you doin'?
I'm Rocks, co-leader of the project!
@ChupaReaper: firstly, I like to say that I loved so much your River Dragon project!
and yes, your models look pretty fine! specially the trite!
These models you've seen on our screenshots are models that I'd extract from RDDR (hope you not get angry about that
) and I reanimate them using DECORATE to give them a better Doom 3 like movimentation...
Well , I was wondering to know If you let me use your models on our project... If not, I'll get rid of that imp and trite... but I realy wanna use them in our project!!
[EDIT]
No Fabio, 'cuz this program only convertes md5meshs, and not md5anims...
And... forget about my poor english
