Hm te page works but I can't find a download url for the latest pack of all models... or is there a place where I can download each model as a single file?

The problem I have with it is the sheer size of it. Isn't it something like 700MB in total? My poor little connection simply couldn't handle that. :(

It's a shame because I'd really like to see this properly. :?

I know, the size is horrible, but it gets messy with single files everywhere and people have had problems with it.
This URL should work: http://files.filefront.com/RDoomv3+1RDD ... einfo.html
It works for me, you can find the pack on the RDoom page at the minute btw as it comes with my RDoom project which I made for my RDDR source, many more will follow...
I might try 7zip for my next release from where I'll split up RDoom and RDDR as seperate packs to save download mass. If you use Firefox, start the download some morning when you're going out and when you get back, it's done, if it freezes Firefox has a pause and resume download feature. I might make a torrent for stuff, I'll be allowed to post links here saying is it isn't pirated software, right?

EDIT: Here's a new screenie, showing off my favourite spell, based on the Hexen II Necromancer's bone flicking attack:

The problems with my connection are that it would probably take longer than the day out you suggest and my connection isn't too reliable so the chances are that the connection would break at some point during the download and either not resume or resume but give me a corrupted file. In short, something of that size is almost certainly an impossible download for me. :?

Uploading each model as a single file might also be a better idea because of the handling you have with the models. Imagine that someone wants to use one single monster from the pack, he always has to download 700mb. Take a look at the Beastiary at my Realm667.com for an example of a better solution ;)

That's what I used to do, but I was constantly updating everything I started making a demon pack and now I've decided to screw it and put them all together, each monster and weapons, etc, all come in their own pk3 but don't work without the system, so with the system you can only use one monster of weapon, etc, removing the system needs would meen that one tiny update to the basics would force me to edit every single file, which is where I love inheritance. This individual pk3 things was actually inspired by your website, but because I keep constantly changing things, it's too hard to manage.

If you know of a free FTP service with unlimited uploads and at least 1gb of file size, then I'd use that, only then if someone wants everything, they'd have to download all 100+ files, one by one!

Another video on YouTube, also YouTube member phobos001 has posted an RDoom 1 walkthrough video (though he dies a lot I wouldn't call it a walkthrough...!) Still, very fun to watch!
RDoom Preview 2 and small RDDR weapons preview:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EJ1bR9SHOA
I've also uploaded my version of phobos' walkthrough, just to show that RDoom 1 is possible to complete! New RDoomers should start with RDoom 3 (episode 3) for the best experiance, it uses the most of RDDR as well. Anyways, my Vaultar II upgrade project is moving on nicely along with the rest of RDDR's epic side!

...and that's exactly the problem of this pack and the reason why most likely no-one will ever use these models

At first I wanted RDDR to be a resource where someone can download what they want, like your Beastiary, but now that RDDR has grown so much, etc, it's best that it all comes in one pack, for themes sake, by this I mean, why would someone want one demon from my pack, along with some demon from another pack, the scale of their stats would be completely different (an RDDR Impling is about 10x stronger than a Doom Imp, yet so is the RDDR Pistol, etc, I did this so I could vary more with stats and work with stronger enemies).

I couls still keep things seperate but the file size would be ther same, only someone would have to download every file one by one. Looking back on this topic, when my files were more seperate, people kept asking me to put them all together.

So the harsh reality of life is, 40+ Demons, 30+ Guns, Hi Res Textures and Ambient sounds weigh about 700+MB!
Here is someone who managed to get RDDR and RDoom downloaded and working: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=go__nhIVCAs&feature=user It might be big, but there's a lot there, and not all of it is even used by RDoom yet...

I noticed this.
It was an Red Colored Imp.
i pretty like it, because the standalone pack is fully OpenGL featured :D
(sort of same idea what i had in mind for ConsoleDoom.)
So far i don't have any favorite enemy monsters atm.
They all looks so cool, so i can't really choose!

i have to say that some animations are totally cool.
and also crosses with the monster.
however, somehow i don't really like the Doomguy skin...
Quake 3 Arena's Doomguy is still the best.... NA, CRASH is the best skin ever! :D
Girls ftw :3
