I imagine this thread is largely ignored, but I might as well give it a shot anyway:
Can somebody point me to (either provide a rapidshare link, or link to a source) a centred assault rifle? Doesn't need reloading or anything special, as I intend for the graphics to be used merely as a chaingun skin (why's Doomguy carrying an assault rifle if he doesn't ever use one?

)
Preferably something like an M4A1 or M16, and I'm not particularly bothered f it's overused or whatever, as I haven't seen one before (think about it

). I would be highly appreciative of such a link, as getting it will allow me to fill out some of my other plans. Reward for it would be a mention in the credits, and if the provider is interested they can betatest the project on completion. Unfortunately I don't have much more than that to offer.
I would have a shot at drawing it myself, but I don't have the skill for that sot of thing and I'm already drawing out several other sprites and stuff for this project anyway. (Takeover, BTW)
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunatly, it's not that this thread is ignored, it's that most requests require being custom drawn. Not something alot of the regulars here can do.

Since it's just a regular, centered rifle without fancy animations, I might point you my own one in this thread:
http://forum.drdteam.org/viewtopic.php?t=1898
It only has three frames so far, and no pickup, but I'm planning on updating it. And it doesn't have anything to do with M4 or M16...

Unfortunately that's not enough like a 'standard assault rifle' for the job. Very nice, but not quite what I had in mind. Of course, saying that I'm currently using the shotgun graphics from NeoDoom with a bit of hacking about to get what I want. Not perfect, but beggers can't be choosers. (And my internet was giving me shit trying to get on here most of the day)
Good work on those weapons though
@MRK: That's why I thought this thread would be ignored. A lot of it is people asking for new graphics, which are rarely easy to draw or quick, from my experience.

Look at the Zombies TC. It has a centered M16, albeit with no Doomguy hands (

Thanks, looks pretty good. I'll have go at handing it myself tomorrow, as it looks better than my current sprites (though not quite as 'doomy').

Requesting a well-made, non-cartoony FAMAS G2 with doomguy hands.
Preferably with at least 2-3 frames of visible reloading.
Simplistic firing frames (gun angled up a few degrees), and no muzzle flash, as i've already painstakingly made one from scratch.
I need
something to replace the CS-rip crap I'm using now.
EDIT:
Alright, I've found a good, albeit still CS-y, model on FPSBanana (
http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/11577).
Could someone please make some rips of it?
Preferably with at least 5 reload frames.[/url]

Is there a way that I could make this thread any more noticeable?

Whoops, sorry, I didn't notice this thread beforehand..
Anyways the request is the same, something like Alucard's gun from Hellsing.

Can't you use HTML in the title to make the letters appear bigger?
Request for fake weapon schematics

I think this is the right thread. I'd really appreciate it if someone could turn these shoddy pictures into something that looks more presentable. I'm looking for them as role-playing props, not Doom weapons. The first one is most important. All I need is for them to look like sketches, or technical schematics or something. No detailed shading, texturing or lighting effects required. They would just need to look like better versions of the pictures below. They are supposed to be the technical specs of enemy hand-guns which the players in the game will be given so that they know what they are looking for on their quest. No need for any writing or labels on them, I will add that later. Just basic drawings, but better than I can do, are required. (As has been pointed out before, I'm a science teacher, not an art teacher.

)
This one is a stubby-looking laser gun. It's about 45 cm/ 18 inches from barrel tip to the back of the butt. It is silver/gun metal in colour (not essential for the sketches) and has a black collar towards the front end of the barrel that acts as a laser charge chamber. The trigger is a little red button. The weapon is almost small enough to be single handed, but is meant to be fired with one hand on the butt/trigger and the front hand around the collar.
This one is a little longer but only by a couple of cm. Rather than having a charge collar it has a wider underslung base kind of thingy. The back has a small arched cowl on it. Inside that is a small repeater LED that shows when the weapon is fired (lasers being silent and almost invisible in this game, it helps to know when you have fired).
This is essentially the same as the above but with sniper attachments: a round telescopic sight and an extended barrel.
Like I said, the most important one is the first "stubby" one. If someone could manage a sketch/schematic of that, I'd be most grateful. The others are "nice to haves" with the basic being most important followed by the sniper version.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry to sound pushy on this, and I realise not everyone will even have seen the request yet. I'm just trying to find out if anyone is likely to be able to help out on this. If not, I'll try and do what I can myself. I plan on using the props this weekend.
I'm really only looking for a line drawing. Something like this would be very nice (although, obviously I don't want a Star Wars bowcaster):
or even:
I can probably draw the basic shape, it's when it comes down to adding little embellishments that make it look as if it could be a real item (I dunno, knurling marks on the collar, screw heads, whatever) that I will start to come unstuck.
The crappy drawings I attached to my first post are based on very rough props I'm in the process of making. These will be made of foam rubber and tape (for safety reasons) and so will not look particularly realistic, so it would help to have a drawing of what they are supposed to be like. This is very much a WIP, the final versions will look better:
