New Risen3D map AI_Base

Anyway decided for a new map, AI-Base.
A fight against artificial intelligence.

I'm delighted to see you mapping and modelling again. After one of your other posts I thought that you might be giving up on it. The map already looks interesting.

Also looking very nice. The tech and style reminds me a little bit of some of the Doom3 stuff, but more colourful. :)

Thanks, try to make everything 3D .
Pity don’t have bump or normal maps in R3D.
I go for higher poly count for more detail, Computers are fast enough this days.

I love the high-def quality of the screenshot.

[On an unrelated note, does anyone pay attention to the fact that a game's protagonist in a sci-fi environment continues to use an old-fashioned shotgun as a weapon?]

And Hicks, in the year in 2179, uses an Ithaca 37 to blast Aliens on LV-426. While the weapon is not double barrelled, it's a mildly interesting fact anyway. The Ithaca dates back to the 1930s (designed 1933 produced from 1937 - hence the name). ;)

Made 12 new HUD weapons for the abbs packs,
now I'm slowly picking up my map again. :D
