doom 3 maps question.

i've just downloaded some maps for Doom 3. but all i got was a pk4 file. what should i do?

Put the PK4 file into the Doom3\Base folder. If the map comes with a readme file, look in there to find out the name of the map to load. Then start the game, press Ctrl+Alt+~ to open the console, and type "map <mapname>" to run it.
