Graf has responded to my bug report stating that it is a problem with Randy's garbage collector code. So I've re-reported it over at Zdoom.
On bright graphics, I found the console background too bright. The confont is mainly displayed in white so the pale yellow of the picture makes it hard to read the text.

Updates:
- Changed the CONBACK screen with a better and less bright one.
- The Dual Plasma Accelerators no longer have infinite ammo.
Since the Plasma Accelerators are a special weapon, my idea is to make it appear rarely. but i don't know when it should happen. I was thinking about "replacing" the Megasphere, since it's a kinda rare powerup. is this a good idea or do you guys have a better one?

After a long week of forced hiatus due to problems with my PC, i'm back. Looks like there was a lot of viruses but there was no visible signs of it. I don't think it was spyware, neither adware. about two weeks ago, my PC was self-rebooting with no apparent reason. the problem was getting even more critical at a point that i couldn't even turn on the PC anymore.
worst of all, i got some BSoDs as well.
Since this Tuesday, my pc is back and with a big performance gain. So far i only tested two games: The Need For Speed SE (with DosBox of course) and Need For Speed Most Wanted. on both games, the framerate was severely increased, thus giving some room for increasing the graphical details.
I don't know how those viruses entered on my computer but i think is something related to the sites i usually enter. The biggest problem is that i don't know how can i find out if this/that site is safe or not!

It's actually really, really hard to get a virus these days, supposing you have a virus scanner of course. The common places to get a virus are bizarre porno sites, and the people that promise you cracks/keygens/serials =p Although, Megagames is completely safe for that kind of thing as are a number of other renowned websites.
That said, once you start scanning your system on a regular basis, you should apply common sense to what you do online - for example, it's a bad idea to download something like 'img05936-live.messenger.com' =p

i have the Avast! Antivirus Home Edition. it self-updates very often so i don't care much this. i often see a blue square saying that a new version of the antivirus database was successfully downloaded and installed. i remember that i once tried to download the program Daemon Tools and the antivirus displayed a message that this file was a trojan. as soon as i saw it, i cancelled the download.
