Is there a way to get FSGlobal to support Hexen? Now, I know it's because of Hexen's levels including a 12-byte header, but I really wish there was a way to add custom weapons that replace starting weapons without having to include the first map. Basicly, if one were to include the map without the 12-byte header, it'd work, so warping makes you start off with normal default weapons. Is there anyway around this?

The next version will have global ACS support so FSGLOBAL is to be considered deprecated from now on.

Horray.
But anyway, isn't checking for just the presence of anything in the header to determine pre-existing FraggleScripts a bit daft? Wouldn't it be wiser to check for "[level info]" and "[scripts]". The 12-byte header in Hexen's levels is version info.

Does the word 'deprecated' mean anything to you?
To make it short, I won't invest any work here. I added this feature so I could change the default inventory of some PWADs I modified myself. It was never meant to be a universal means to set up the needs for weapon mods.

Global ACS support what does that mean? FSGLOBAL will be able to have ACS funtions in there?
